It's easily my favorite Disney movie. Disney's sense of humor is usually pretty tame, but here they embrace wholeheartedly the non-sense and bananas humor. I watch it at least once every year because it never fails to make me laugh like hyena. Yzma is one of the best Disney villains and even the good guys are just so funny.
I never understood how it isn't praised that much by other people, and I guess one of the reasons why I think this movie is so amazing is the Brazilian dubbing. The voice-work made by the brazilian actors is among the best voice-acting I've ever watched (heard?) in my life. That's probably why it was such a big hit here in Brazil and not in other countries.

My favorite Disney movie. Eartha Kitt gives the best voice-over performance and my favorite supporting actress performance. The German dub for Kuzco and Yzma are done quite well. This doesn't seem like a Disney movie, which is a big compliment.

Rewatched it a couple years ago, and still found it hilarious. I'm actually going to an Emperor's New Groove-themed Halloween party next week. Trying to decide whether to go as theme song guy or do Pacha and his wife couple costumes.
