The timeless beauty of Catherine Deneuve... The cruel elegance of David Bowie... The open sensuality of Susan Sarandon... 'American Horror Story' did a sexy riff on this trio with Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, and Finn Wittrock, and I thought the cult classic might be deserving of a feature-length update. I don't know but I will say we sort of got a version of this in a way in the borderline awesome Stoker a few years back - not overt vampirism but sort of played like it. That of course was Kidman/Goode/Wasikowska.
Chastain's bloody mouth in Salome - which is extremely hot and extremely disturbing - always make me think of her as a vampire....
