On December, 7th, in time for its 25th anniversary.
It was tough for me to rewatch it recently, but I can’t turn down seeing one of Spielberg’s movies in cinemas.

I am not the biggest fan of the film (because the the ending lets me down a bit) and I don't think it's quite definitive on its subject (The Pianist and Au Revoir Les Enfants) but much of it is pretty great and much of it is magnificent and harrowing.
I saw this film, in a theater, where unknown to me beforehand - a huge chunk of the theater was reserved for an elderly Jewish Synagogue group of attendees. Needless to say they were devastated by the film and to be in that theater and realize how powerful a movie can be to some people - they had been waiting their whole lives for this film really - and the sorrow and grief that poured out of them was one of the most powerful things I have ever experienced in a theater.
