Hopefully it's better than Tully.

Looks eh to me. Like a slightly better polished Primary Colors. This is the first script for two of the three writers: one is a political strategist and the other is a political columnist/author. Makes me think it'll be well detailed but dramatically rote or mechanic. Reitman is the other writer and well, imo his two best he didn't write: Juno and my fav the very underrated Young Adult. But props to him for having two films out in one year, it's rare! (Haven't seen Tully)
We'll see....but Cheney will prob be the better, cleverer politic pic this year.

So classic! that abysmal jackman's hairdo though That's just the 80's... and the 70's... and slightly in the early 90's.

It looks pretty good and I don't even like Reitman much.
By the way - this year you have had a burst of political films or films that address politics - Chappaquiddick, Blackkklansman, Farenheit 11/9, Cheyney, this etc. ........but I'd wish we'd have one (besides the documentary) set right now. I realize they are making connections to this time so they don't seem like relics from the past but it's not exactly the same thing either.
