Inspired by the "Best Films By One-Time Directors" topic, what actors have the best Film or Performance based on one (or very few...3 max) movie ? I have quite a few in mind but I will start with 2 of the most obvious : Ms Falconetti in La Passion de Jeanne D'ArcCarlo Battisti in Umberto D.

Ronald Bronstein in Daddy Longlegs (2009). Remains my favorite Safdie bros film. It won the John Cassavetes Award at the Indie Spirits and it’s definitely indebted somewhat to Cass but it’s also very personal to the Safdies with Bronstein portraying a version of their father. They sorta coerced Bronstein into playing the role and he’s great, he has this agitated, sorta flamboyant New York brusque quality not unlike Vincent Gallo. And he’s hilarious. (Bronstein cowrote and edited the last three Safdie movies.)
Another..... the main kid from The Runner (1984) is very memorable, boisterous, undaunted, heroic, always running. He has to carry the movie too - he's in every scene, every frame.
