"The period epic will tell the story of Robert The Bruce, the Scottish king that lead his country to freedom from English rule." The Hollywood Reporter
What do you think? Apparently Pine will play the Scottish king, and Foster will play his loyal aide.

Doesn't sound particularly interesting to me, but I would most likely give it a minimum of one or two episodes and quit on it if it's crap.

It is weird how your mind still goes to TV right away with Netflix, especially since their crowning achievement so far, in my opinion, is Beasts of No Nation. Hell or High Water is my #2 of last year (with some notable films still to see). It was so damn good. The screenplay was the MVP for me. As brilliant as that ensemble was and as craftily shot and edited as I found it; it really did hang off of that wonderful story, natural dialogue and emotive moments that were all well earned. Taylor Sheridan is really shaping up to be something potentially great.

This is such Tyler bait. And it looks incredible. And I know it's difficult to judge from a trailer, but my boy's Scottish accent seems to be on point.

looks even better than I was expecting! Totally what I was thinking. I would really rather see this in cinematic format... The quality of this production seems to deserve that.

I wonder what the budget is for this ? Looks like Netflix put a shit ton of money into this. Anyways, can't wait for this one. Probably my most anticipated film for the rest of the year.

And hopefully less ATJ. I must say, though, this looks better than I expected it to.

The cinematography is bothering me for some reason. Not sure what it is but I don't like it. Visually it feels like a TV show.
