I have Skyfall and Casino Royale pretty much neck and neck in the Bon canon. I think Casino Royale's high points are far higher than Skyfall's, but I just think that the opening stuff prior to the Casino is less strong, and some of that exposition they have Giannini unloading during the poker would have made Chris Nolan blush. I really think Skyfall is a pretty overrated movie, but it's essentially solid as a rock from beginning to end.
Quantum is a clear step down, but I find it holds up pretty well the more I ponder it. That whole opera sequence is amazing, I LOVE Gemma Arterton's little turn so much, Kurylenko is great, and her and Craig make a hell of a double team, and that whole personal, intimate, intense slant that the two of them have is pretty wonderfully unique in the Bond universe.
Spectre is generally pretty watchable, and it's quite beautifully made, and certainly up until maybe them being picked up by that car in the desert it all works pretty well, but everything after that is so sinfully bad (and so catastrophic a letdown) that it veers into territory that'd probably be more at home in the worst of the Moore movies, and lags way behind all of the others.
Skyfall - 7 Casino Royale - 7 Quantum of Solace - 6 Spectre - 5

Casino Royale - Not only the best Bond film, but it would also make my shortlist of greatest action films of all time. 10/10
Skyfall - Everything before we meet Silva is great, everything after that is still good but more prosaic... the stakes get lower and it gets narrower in scope as the film goes along, which is weird for a Bond film. Probably the strongest Bond entry in terms of thematic ambition, and it's the best-looking Bond film. 8/10
Spectre - While it doesn't have as strong of a thematic spine as Skyfall and is also a bit bloated, I think this is pretty underrated and has pretty much everything I could ever want in a Bond movie in terms of superficial pleasures. I don't mind the film's willingness to embrace the old formula after previous Craig films have insisted on messing with it. This is the most "Bondian" of the Craig films and on that level, I almost prefer it to Skyfall in terms of pure enjoyment. The opening sequence is all-time great, I dig the slow-burn, trail of bread crumbs plot, the interactions with M, Q, and Moneypenny are great, the visuals are gorgeous, and I find the action setpieces are quite satisfying overall. I know a lot of people think Waltz's character is underused/underdeveloped and hate how the film tries to tie in everything from previous Craig films, and that's fair, but I don't really mind it and I like the mystique around the character. That being said, the romance between Bond and Madeleine doesn't entirely convince, and the climax is slightly underwhelming. Overall though, I think the film gets too much of a bad rap. 7.5/10
Quantum of Solace - I don't think it's terrible, but it's definitely disposable and easily the weakest of the Craig films. It acts like too much of an epilogue to CR and the action sequences indeed feel a little too much like second-rate Bourne. The opera sequence is pretty cool I guess. 6/10

Casino Royale - 9/10. Skyfall - 8.5/10. Quantum of Solace - 6/10. Spectre - 5.5/10.
Casino Royale is just brilliant both in terms of action and story. Not just a great Bond film or action film, but great film in its own right. A great inception into the Craig series. But then followed up with a lackluster sequel in Quantum which has a great first act and a nice personal story that's different from other Bond films, but it quickly goes off the rails and not all of the action set-pieces worked as well as some. Then they got it back with Skyfall which, while it doesn't hold itself to the standards (story-wise) set by the first, it's easily the most beautiful looking Bond film and is a hell of a lot of fun (with strong acting too). The newest one was just lame. It had one solid action sequence (the train fight with Bautista, who would have been a better villain than Waltz IMO) and some nice cinematography, but was pretty dull beyond that. Which is not what you want in an action film, let alone a Bond film.
Still, I'm excited for the next one.

Skyfall is the best Bond film overall. I got no qualms with it.
Casino Royale isn't quite as good, but it's still a very fine movie indeed.
I think the opening scene of Spectre is the best thing I've ever seen in a Bond film, but that movie was such a mess and it felt like they had to hurriedly rewrite a lot of stuff in order to compensate for Craig potentially bailing on the franchise just as they set up Blofeld. Also, Lea Seydoux blew chunks and I lost a lot of respect for Ralph Fiennes after that "careless" line.
Quantum of Solace has some nice imagery but ultimately doesn't do it for me.

Even though Spectre and QoS generated a tremendous amount of internet haterade I think all of his are really solid.

Casino Royale is a masterpiece for the genre.
None of the sequels compare, but at least Skyfall doesn't try to rip it off and trash its legacy as blatantly.
Spectre was an all-time low. It felt like I was watching Saw IV all over again, superimposing pointless pieces of plot onto old storylines to lazily connect them all together after the fact as a cheap way to fake out the audience. I wasn't wowed. A kindergartner could have created a more inventive plot without raping the preceding films. Blofeld was such a boring, cliched villain with a ludicrous backstory. All of this - all the plotlines in the previous films masterminded by a single godlike entity behind the scenes because that entity had daddy issues. Fuck. Off. Implausibility levels are off the fucking charts.
Say what you will about Quantum's over-reliance on Royale, but at least it had a fun villain and compelling action pieces. Spectre was overlong, unenjoyable, incoherent, lazily-plotted, and had forgettable action.
Casino Royale - 9/10 Skyfall - 7.5/10 (first half is pretty great and Silva is a fantastic villain, but the Home Alone portion of the film throws off the pace and makes for a dull climax) Quantum - 7/10 Spectre - 4/10

Skyfall is the best Bond film. Casino Royale is third best after Goldfinger. Quantum of Solace is underrated. It’s better than many remember it being. And after the opening, Spectre completely sputters all the way to the finish. And now I’m actively scared to watch a Craig-era Bond film again, because I feel like it’s just going to taint them because of what I know now. You think The Last Jedi was a betrayal? Try an entire goddamned conspiracy that retcons and undermines a character’s journey and makes it feel meaningless. Skyfall - 10/10 Casino Royale - 9/10 Quantum of Solace - 8/10 Spectre - 5/10 (and it only gets worse the more I think about it) I lost a lot of respect for Ralph Fiennes after that "careless" line. I kid you not, my entire audience had the same reaction to that. Part 1: *Hysterical laughter*. Part 2: “ Oh, ok... We all have dirty minds”That would have been the best if they just took that one word out.

Casino Royale 10 (the classiest, coolest, best acted *Craig, Mikkelson, Dench, and Green are superb* , and the most well-made in the series - it puts others to shame).
Skyfall 9 (Excellent! Judi Dench and Bardem were snubbed for Best On-Screen Couple at the MTV Movie Awards and Dench and Craig for Best On-Screen Mother/Son Duo at the AARP Movies for Grown Ups Awards.).
Spectre 7 (Miss Swan is a disservice to the name and has to be one of the most boring Bond girls ever. I saw zero chemistry. It doesn't help that Craig looks painfully bored. And the Blofeld retconn and general inclusion of the character was one of the biggest pitfalls in the whole series. But the first 2/3 are entertaining and Belucci's 5 minute cameo was great, and the best thing in the film - too bad she was only an extended cameo and the rest of the film didn't live up to that quality).
Quantum of Solace 6 (I actually watched this twice in theatres, but to my defense...one of those times was free. That said, the story is really thin, none of the characters are developed beyond levels of "Hello, my name is Shelly Duvall." Someone above said it has a good villain, but I can't even recall who that would be (White?). It's one of the worst I've seen (I've seen 16 of them), but it's not outright bad or boring, it's just lacking, yet for some reason, still watchable (but it's been 10 years since I've seen it but I could use another 10 before I try to rewatch it).

Someone above said it has a good villain, but I can't even recall who that would be (White?). No, this guy And a lot of why this villain works for me is Amalric's reptilian appearance. He looks and feels like a Bond villain. All he had to do was show up on set to bring that "Ewwwww, it's that guy" factor (that sounds so mean ). He's not as memorable as Le Chiffre or Silva but he looks and feels the part, and I did appreciate that (like Le Chiffre), Greene is essentially a scheming, unethical businessman. Performance-wise, Blofeld is just Christoph Waltz on a day off. Character-wise, he's a cliche mastermind supervillain with a dumb chip on his shoulders.
