The Emmy nominations aren't great, but damn this is a stacked category. Every performance here is fantastic.
1) Yvonne Strahovski 2) Lena Headey 3) Vanessa Kirby 4) Alexis Bledel 5) Ann Dowd 6) Thandie Newton 7) Millie Bobby Brown
I'd predict Strahovski or possibly Headey to win, and I wouldn't be complaining.

Not sure how qualified I am to weigh in here given that I haven't seen the second seasons of either The Handmaid's Tale or Westworld. However I'd agree that this is a pretty strong-looking category overall. I really love seeing that you have Strahovski ranked in the top spot; she was easily my favorite thing about the first season of Handmaid's Tale, and the fact that this second season earned her a nomination is tempting me to finally get around to the new season. As for who will win ... I have no idea, I haven't really been following television at all recently so I'd be clueless when it comes to predicting any of these categories. The Emmys are generally pretty boring in terms of selecting repeat nominees (Dinklage is on his seventh nomination? lol) and winners, so I wouldn't be all that surprised if Dowd won again. I think it'd be her if it's anyone from Handmaid's Tale, and I think ultimately that trio would have to create some vote-splitting, which should theoretically open it up for someone else to win. Headey feels overdue, and the Academy loves Game of Thrones waaaay too much, so I could see them finally recognizing her.
Anyway, I'll actually respond to the main point of the thread and rank these performances overall -- or at least, what I've seen of them:
1. Brown 2. Strahovski 3. Kirby 4. Headey 5. Bledel 6. Dowd 7. Newton
I'm not *crazy* about either of the bottom two, but the other five range from great to sensational (with Headey being inconsistent over the course of seven years, but generally one of the standouts of her ensemble) ... I'd be fine with seeing any of those five take the win.

Definitely find time for Handmaid's S2! It can be really hard going, much darker than S1 - but also much better, and Strahovski brings the house down in an magnificently nuanced and complex turn. Westworld S2...eh, ups and downs.

I also don't have a Hulu account, so I'd have to go out of my way to seek it out, which is really discouraging for trying to watch it.

I'm honestly not sure I think everyone but Brown can win this.

Strahovski has her name on it already. I get Dowd winning last year, even if I disagree with it, but it's impossible to watch The Handmaid's Tale Season 2 and not have Yvonne as your #1. Her arc was even more compelling than Moss' in some episodes.
