Very good, bordering on great. This is a movie I've been considering rating higher for a while, just have to give it some more thought first. Scorsese's output this decade has been really strong - The Wolf of Wall Street and Silence are two of his best films. I still have to see Hugo.

Entertaining as hell but I think it would have been better with Polanski's touch.

Haven't seen it in years, but I've always found it deeply haunting. Has its flaws, but definitely one of my favourite Scorsese.

Good one time watch - sort of an extended Twilight Zone episode, and fun in its own way but doesn't hold up to A Tale Of Two Sisters which it is very clearly inspired by and is a masterpiece.

Great. It's one of Scorsese's most atmospheric and directly involving films. DiCaprio is excellent, and while the "twist" is expected, it is executed so well, I actually found it quite terrifying.

Uneven, predictable, overlong, lacks suspense. Didn't care for Leo's performance and Ruffalo was underused. One of my least favorites from Scorsese.

While I'm still not a fan (I actually watched it last night again), I still respect the hell out of that ending.
Sadly, it's everything before it I have problems with.

Pretty great atmosphere, but DiCaprio is miscast and Scorsese blatantly telegraphs the "twist" in the first scene.

The locations were superb & photography is eye popping. The storyline was gripping, controversial and had my attention from start to finish.
