Past Results: Bengal Tiger vs African Lion: Bengal Tiger (10-1) Present fight requested by HELENA MARIA Great White Shark: Adults on average are 4–5.2 m (13–17.1 ft) long and have a mass of 680–1,100 kilograms (1,500–2,400 lb). Females are generally larger than males. It is widely accepted that the great white shark can reach 6.1 m (20 ft) in length and 1,900 kg (4,200 lb) in weight. Saltwater Crocodile: An adult male saltwater crocodile's weight is 409 to 1,000 kilograms (900–2,200 lb) and length is normally 4.1 to 5.5 metres (13–18 ft). However, mature males can exceed 6 metres (20 ft) and weigh more than 1,000 kilograms (2,200 lb) and this species is the only extant crocodilian to regularly reach or exceed 4.8 metres (16 ft).

It's a really really though one ! DependS on where it takes place DEEPWATER = shark SHALLOW WATER = croc Also : speed , agility = shark strength , bite force = croc master of ambush = both I would still give the edge to the croc , though . Like I said , salty croc is much stronger. GW sharky may be faster , but seems less resistant for a "proper fight".

I'll go with the Crocodile too. Those guys give me a "Russell Crowe - Fightin' Around The World" vibe, and no one can compete with that.

For me it's GW. A Saltie can kill a shark but it's the great white we're talking about. It's much heavier and has razor sharp teeth. The croc due to it's thick skin can take a few bites from the Shark but it has to be in underwater a for long to fight the Shark. Plus the croc's head is long instead of wide. Whereas the Shark has wide jaws. Not to mention they're fast and agile.
Both has their weaknesses in Shark's fins and Saltie's underbelly.

This one is too difficult to compare as one is 100% a water animal and the other is whatever it damn well wants to be. So the only place where I can judge them in a fight is the place where one has a distinct advantage.
I'm going with the shark here. The saltwater croc is a badass, no doubt, but when it's swimming with the fishes it plays by the shark's rules.
So here's the rundown:
Size: nearly identical. BUT the croc has much thinner areas to grab onto (tail, arms, legs) where I imagine would be easy targets as opposed to the shark which has more of a solid/compact body with very few things to grab onto. Swimming ability: Shark, hands down. Bite force: this is where I had to google and see that a saltwater croc has a bite force of 17000+ Newtons as opposed to the shark's ~4000!!! BUT we also must remember that alligators/croc's mouths really only work the one way and that a small child could actually hold their mouths shut with no chance of it being able to open it. So I'll give the croc points here... but not too many more than the shark. Natural armor: just look at the croc, he's got some obvious natural armor going down... but the shark also has some thick ass skin (that's course like sandpaper) plus a fatty layer too. Let's call this one a tie.
So again, with all that, if it's in the open water the shark will win probably 90% of the time. If it were in a more enclosed area like a lagoon, I'd still give it to the shark... but I'd imagine the croc would have the sense to probably get out of the water (something I don't think the shark would be capable of thinking). Now if we're talking on the beach Jaws attacking that kid on the raft area... then I'd give it to the croc because in such shallow waters the shark's far superior swimming ability won't be as great a factor.

You can't really compare them, can you? They're from different environments, so depending where they meet will determine the result.

I’m going to go with the Croc. Like others have said, it depends where it happens, but yeah. This is a close one though.
Did you guys see that video where a crocodile rips off the arm of another crocodile and the crocodile didn’t even have a reaction? Fucking insane.
