The documentary is outstanding and I thought at the time of seeing it that it would make a fantastic film. What Zemeckis has done here looks mighty charming.

I'm either gonna love this or hate this... this looks like one of those no-middle-ground type of movies.
For me, it'll probably be how they balance the humor with all that very serious drama.

That looks terrible. What the hell Zemeckis? This kinda splashy "high concept" here is a mistake. For one, who's the target audience? But anyway.... It's all about this character (and if you've seen the doc you'd know it's enough) and you don't need some big animated show around him, they should've just kept it a small budget character study, and Carell might've contended for an Oscar.... with this, no chance.

The poster is good. The trailer is... unclear.

Movie looks solid. Wasn't buying that "doll part" at first, but it grew on me.

Always feel a bit queasy when Zemeckis tries to bring his schamltzy brand of whimsy to sobering themes. You know, like PTSD

I'm interested. Definitely...out there, but I like the cast, so it has my attention. That Thanksgiving weekend is gonna be full with this, Wreck-It Ralph 2, and Creed II, and I'm certain I'm missing like one other movie.

I'll probably watch this but I don't expect any Oscar nods as with Zemeckis' last movie Allied.

Trailer #2.
Is that music at the beginning from the Beasts of the Southern Wild score? It has to be, right?

Woof. I didn't think it would be this poorly received.

Woof. I didn't think it would be this poorly received. Well that’s because you rarely think.

I didn't even know Zemeckis made a new film. Guess he made this just to showcase his love for visual effects.

Poor, Robert, he just can't catch a break. He probably wishes that DeLorean worked.
