Promising trailer.
But I'll wait and see as they always tend to fuck up almost every Stephen King adaptation.

So it is in fact a sequel to Kubrick Shining. That clears that up.
Still not feeling this.

The Shining is the greatest (you heard me) horror movie of all time. Making a direct follow-up while maintaining the pedigree of the original will be no easy task, but if anyone can pull it off it's Make Flanagan. My biggest hope is that he plays tribute to Kubrick in the filmmaking and style and not just the story. I need LOTS of steadicam shots.

Now that was a much better trailer than the first one.

As I've said before, this is a very tricky book to adapt into a film. It could easily turn out to be a flop.
The trailers make me optimistic, especially this one. And the cast of course. McGregor and Ferguson seem perfect for their roles.

I liked the first trailer more, actually, slowed down, cut-up, trailer version of Also sprach Zarathustra and all.
Did Flanagan turn up his teal color palette? I really wish they’d stuck to Kubrick’s sheen.

hmmm i don't know if i loved that trailer but i'm staying optimistic. flanagan is the best non-A24 voice in horror at the moment.
