Showed a bit too much but loved it. Looks so so good. Would be a blast to watch it in theaters.

Well, Chazelle apparently really liked Interstellar...

Looks lovely, but I was expecting it to be cut a bit more high-octane to emphasize the "thriller" aspect of the story.

My third consecutive Ryan Gosling Best Picture win? Could very well be.
EDIT: And Spielberg’s an Exec. Producer. Even better.

Interstellar 2.0......
.....I’d be down if this indeed wins BP. 😁💫

writing hasn't been Chazelle's strong suit and it's definitely coming through in that trailer. The technical side of things is clearly going to be amazing but the story looks derivative and Gosling just looks like he's being low-key Gosling. I don't see Neil Armstrong in that trailer at all.

also, all these interstellar comparisons are making me queasy. Dear god let it not be anything like that.

Well, Chazelle apparently really liked Interstellar... Yeah, I was gonna say. That looks very Nolan-y. "This score but unironically", says Catrician six months from now. writing hasn't been Chazelle's strong suit and it's definitely coming through in that trailer. The technical side of things is clearly going to be amazing but the story looks derivative Chazelle doesn't have a writing credit on this one, though.

This will be an all-timer. Fans of Marooned, Apollo 13, The Right Stuff, From The Earth To The Moon, and so on.... buckle up!

That's encouraging I guess, but the Nolan comparisons seem apt and this on-the-nose dialogue is part of that.

Fantastic trailer. I'm a fan of Chazelle and films revolving around space so count me in!

It looks like a hybrid of Interstellar, Gravity, and Hidden Figures featuring blockbuster action score...
I wish Claire Foy's character was played by Emma Stone.

I really, really, really wanted to be hyped for this 'cause I love La La Land, Whiplash, Chazelle and Gosling, but everything about the trailer and poster just looks so "standard biopic of an American Hero"-ish to me. I'd probably skip it if it wasn't for the talent behind it

I mean, I guess my reaction toward the trailer has softened a bit since showing it to me brother. It looks good, but I'm still a bit wary. The Nolan comparisons aren't lost on me, I just hope this thing has the technical grandeur of a Nolan film and nothing else. That'd be fantastic. Don't let me down, Damien!
