What you can't vote for The Leftovers so you vote for this. What did she do in Gone Girl? nothing.

y'all just nominated Lorelei Linklater for something. Personally, I feel the Ensemble awards should go to the casting director. It's a very important and often under-appreciated job.

Best Achievement by an Actress in a Supporting RoleAnd the nominees are... Patricia Arquette for Boyhood
Carrie Coon for Gone Girl
Erica Rivas for Wild Tales
Rene Russo for Nightcrawler
Kristen Stewart for Clouds of Sils Maria
Emma Stone for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
Naomi Watts for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
Rivas, Russo, Coon, and Watts, but no Dern, Clement, or Bailey. What a mess.

Supporting Actress was by far the most tumultuous category. There was several other women who missed by just a point or two.

Can’t believe Laura Dern was snubbed.

it's clear that for next ceremonies we need to specify the films that are eligible in that given year. Maybe we can include that in the category placement poll.

Not surprised, but I wish Mendelsohn and/or Don Johnson could have snuck in as well. And just realized Blunt was snubbed for EoT... smh. I thought people were done convincing themselves that Patricia Arquette was good in Boyhood.
