If Cronenberg doesn't direct, then my interest will probably drop.

Pretty fantastic news. Hoping for Cronenberg to return, but not a total deal breaker if he doesn't.

It's been 10 years now. I don't have my hopes up.

In for Viggo, Cronenberg is a bonus. I'm a Knight fan too, please be good! If it was Cronenberg title makes it sounds like he's going back to his body horror roots

I love everything about the first film, but even with the presence of Knight and Mortensen (I'm assuming Watts isn't involved?), I'm apprehensive about this. Is a sequel really necessary?
I'll still watch it. But I don't see why we need this, and not some new, original blood. Like the first movie.

Bleh. I liked Eastern Promises but I don't really see the point of this.

I've been saying that this needed a sequel since it came out. The ending left the door wide open for one. But my problem is that it's too late. It's been 10 years. Would Nikolai STILL be undercover for this long?

Well I guess that works.

I'm still getting some major A Dame to Kill For vibes. DON'T YOU PUT THAT EVIL ON ME, RICKY BOBBY. We even had something of like a 5+ year running joke about how Rodriguez will just make another Machete instead of a Sin City sequel... and one of those years we were actually right. Sad. But at least the Levitt stuff was good...

But at least the Levitt stuff was good... That's true. I mean, I wouldn't call it amazing, but it was certainly enjoyable. Still, I trust in Steven Knight's analysis of his work.
