Well I'm glad somebody punched him in the face during his reign of terror although a heated metal dildo up his rectum sounds like true justice.

And this is for ALL the women who seek a physical revenge. Derail my career? Blacklist me? Threaten to kill me? Kinda hard to do when you are tethered to a bed with all the women you violated with tazers to your withered penis. Uma was right. The slow kill is the best. Can I live with myself in the morning? I dunno. Lets watch Death and The Maiden.

This story is somewhat misleading with its clickbait headline. She has talked about the scandals many times on her press run of promoting Black Mirror. It's all she's getting asked about. But as she said on Colbert, she likes to talk at length about issues this complex, and she's not a "soundbyte" person where you can whittle her words down to one sentence (which the media will then put out there for people to pull apart and attack, no doubt).

I guess nobody saw the paul haggis story? I just saw. What do you think about it? Just as with Woody Allen, I'm remaining neutral because I really don't know. I've seen people say to always believe the woman, but I don't agree with that. There are women who lie about things like this. Women who do a huge disservice to real victims, (which this woman could be, but I'm just saying). Now as I've said, when you've got numerous accusers, and you release a statement that obviously acknowledges inappropriate behavior (Weinstein, Cosby, Spacey), then I'm not taking it easy on you.

Apparently, someone on Reddit said these:
"I've known about this man for many, many years, as a philanderer, predator towards women for whom he's had power over, and just a nasty human being to work with. I am so glad to see all of these creeps get the justice they deserve - and I hope they end up in court - and ultimately jail. And $9 million is a small price to pay for rape. Haggis is just one small example of the mindset of these rapists.
And it is the worst when someone I used to look up to, like Haggis, Dustin Hoffman, Garrison Keiler, and Matt Lauer. Just remember these people are the top .001 % of income inequallity. Many of them go on as pundits and preach the injustice - while they collect their $20 million paychecks, go back to their private bathrooms, hotel rooms, and secret offices with buttons under the desk to lock the door - and rape women."

"Paul Haggis has been a known sexual predator for years- anyone who is close to him has had their suspicions. He uses his power and influence to get into bed with interns/the weak/the cute young crewmembers half his age (ala Roy Moore), and people coming to him for advice. And of course they never get any advancement in their career. After he's done with them he ignores. I'm glad to see the mainstream media expose this man for who he really is. He's not a "victim" of Scientology - if anything he has been using the tools he learned in Scientology on how to persuade his sexual victims to "get to yes", however yes wasn't good enough for him. He's a rapist. And a pariah. And his career is over no matter what he does with his lawsuit."

Given that Haggis spoke out about Weinstein, maybe this is a proof that I should trust all Internet rumors about famous men...?

She needs to press criminal charges if he in fact raped her. She is one of the few women in these alleged cases that can actually charge someone with a crime due to the time limits. Paz can't even press charges against Harvey cause she waited too late and because her therapist is not signing off on what she said.

I never heard those comments before and to be honest, I thought he was gay so when I read it, I was like, say what. Ha ha. He used to be in that cult so who knows if this is true or if they are behind it. I have no clue. All I know is that she needs to press charges now so if he is a rapist, his ass needs to go to jail not get sued.

Weinstein ex-assistant speaks out - BBC Newsnight
In her first TV interview, Harvey Weinstein's former assistant, Zelda Perkins, speaks out on why she wants gagging laws to be changed, and why she has broken her non-disclosure agreement two decades after signing it. The BBC asked Mr Weinstein for a response to the allegations. His lawyers said Mr Weinstein categorically denied engaging in any non-consensual conduct or alleged threatening behaviour. Miramax had no comment.

I was wondering when Papa Sorvino was speaking out. He says it would be good for Weinstein to go to jail because he would kill that motherfucker.

Your liberal bias is showing, Meryl Streep. Had this all happened during the Obama administration, I doubt she would be deflecting on to Michelle Obama.

People spoke about Streep 's silence because this scandal happened in the show business, about someone she knew and worked with. I don't think the first lady or president's daughter should specifically address sexual harassment in Hollywood, as it's something that unfortunately happens in every kind of working place to thousands women who don't even have the celebrity status and the media attention if they choose to denounce molesters.

They should when they are married to/the daughter of someone who is an accused abuser (and who openly admitted to using his influence to take sexual advantage of women), who sits in the highest position of elected authority in the world. Particularly when one of Melania's touted "causes" is bullying.

Everyone is losing their jobs left and right - Hollywood, Sports, Media, and Politics, but Trump sits in the White House. He's been accused of raping a 13 yr old girl and nobody seems to care. Ivanka Trump on Roy Moore: 'There's a special place in hell for people who prey on children' - It's reasonable to expect her to respond again. I don't know why it's become Streep's responsibility.

And I wonder if Streep would expect to hear from first gentleman had Hillary Clinton been elected...
