Yves Saint Laurent famously dubbed her the "girl of the 70s." She has been a stunning presence in the international film and fashion world for nearly 50 years now - wasn't it so nice to see her appear in I Am Love and Branagh's West End Romeo and Juliet adaptation? So warm and lovely. Sofia Coppola has this cover of French Vogue framed in her home in Paris:

I've only seen her in Barry Lyndon, but she's lovely and quite memorable there.

I thought that she did a fine job in both Cabaret and Barry lyndon. Plus, she is beautiful.

I only know her from Barry Lyndon and Cabaret. She had the kind of face that just grabs your attention in the same way Kate Moss does.

She was like the Camilla Belle of her day (the 70s). A socialite who ostensibly acted but was far better known for what she wore or whom she was out with.
People who are into fashion and "icons" kind of worship her. People who are into film couldnt give two sh*ts about her.

She's all-time great in Barry Lyndon, and very very good in Cabaret.
