Yeah, reading that blurb all I was thinking was King of Comedy.

Yeah, reading that blurb all I was thinking was King of Comedy. Which doesn't really excite me, because I do not like The King of Comedy. I think there is definitely potential here, though. It just all depends on the execution.

The Joker doesn't need a back story... he doesn't need audience sympathy... he just needs Batman and a few devilish deeds.

It's definitely a project at great risk to fall on its face (and with Venom continuing to look like it's going to suck, the heartbreak of seeing another one of my favorite working actors stuck in a weird standalone project like this is definitely something I have to prepare for), but I have faith that Joaquin wouldn't have taken the part if the pitch weren't fantastic and if the material wasn't at least worth his time... right, guys? Right?

I love Baldwin, but I can't really picture him as Thomas Wayne.

I like that "standalone" is something that needs to be specified now. That used to be almost all movies.

Unnecessary "tbh" tbh... it's obviously a stellar cast. You blind De Niro fanbot.

If Dirt Nasty says it’s gonna be crispy, it’s gonna be crispy.

I'm kinda loving those pictures, but they're only pictures, so whatever really.
Still, I'm allowing a small part of myself to be hyped that my favourite working actor is playing this typically fascinating character.

If Dirt Nasty says it’s gonna be crispy, it’s gonna be crispy. So is he playing the Joker or Anton Chigurh?
