A scene that is very famous but that I can't find a photo of online (?) - Newman clocking Rampling in the face in The Verdict .......first of all can someone find this?........if that was 2 men it would be easily viewable, no? Are there any scenes like this ^ for you where you not only said "Fnck this movie but fnck this actor?" The producers were reluctant to keep the scene where Newman strikes Rampling, believing it would turn the audience against his character and even damage his public image. Newman insisted on keeping it, believing it was right for the story.
See new posts Conversation Roxy Striar @roxystriar Watching The Verdict for the first time and just got to the scene where Paul Newman’s character (our protagonist) slaps Charlotte Rampling’s character (his girlfriend in the movie) in the face so hard she falls over. And now I’m supposed to be rooting for him. Yikes 1982.1:54 AM · Oct 14, 2018

Brando? Butter? Not even with Schneider's PoV coming out after? Chastain went a little wackadoodle with this but I'msure many feel the same way........

Jared Leto sending his cast mates used condoms is a bit too far for me, although the idea of him giving Will Smith anal beads makes me laugh

If that slimy motherfucker Shia LaBarf actually shot stray dogs to get in character for The Tax Collector, as FKA Twigs claimed, then I know of no worse high profile example.

Dustin Hoffman slapping Meryl Streep plus some emotional abuse during the filming of Kramer vs Kramer. Not only that, he'd taunt her about her boyfriend John Cazale's recent death between takes to rile her up.

Ezra Miller wasn't even acting in We Need to Talk About Kevin. He just showed up one day and the rest of the cast just reacted to his antics.

Klaus Kinski. Not really any one thing he did, just his whole existence, pretty much. Big fan. Fuck him though.

Dustin Hoffman slapping Meryl Streep plus some emotional abuse during the filming of Kramer vs Kramer. I've never quite uderstood if Streep is saying her reaction to the wine glass scene (smashed agaisnst a wall) - a brilliant acting touch imo - was a real reaction or if the take used in the film wasn't a first take and she then knew it was coming and she "acted"........ Michael Mann talks about in Heat Pacino improvising that "great ass" scene and Hank Azaria's reaction is a "genuine" WTF reaction left in the movie

Love it.

Laurence Olivier famously slapped Maggie Smith. And DDL often goes too far. Insisting that he needed to stay in character for My Left Foot and demanded to be fed will never not be fucking hilarious and delusional. People should've called him out more tbh.
