Fresh off her Olivier nomination for the much-lauded West End revival... The show will be transferring to Broadway this year. Also... if a film adaptation is ever to be made (unlikely?) - it will be Scherzinger who's cast, right? https://www.instagram.com/p/C4_3WKwtghk

Yeah, I feel like there's a bigger chance of Nicole Scherzinger getting cast in a movie version of the musical than Glenn Close at this point. Sad for Close, but there have been too many setbacks in trying to get a film off the ground for her. I feel like Scherzinger is ambitious for film stardom, and will see this as her best opportunity to do it. And she's also very connected to money people in the entertainment industry ( like Simon Cowell) who could back the project for her.

Yeah, I think it's pretty much a wrap for Glenn Close getting cast in the movie version. Nicole Scherzinger has just won Best Actress In A Musical at the Olivier Awards.

Incredible speech by Nicole Scherzinger collecting her Olivier Award. Touching, emotional, hilarious, genuine. Bravo Ms Scherzinger, you're a star (Yeah, after that speech, I have no doubt she's coming for a Tony, and then an Oscar)
