This period - I think is somewhat of an all-timer US actress run - 10 Years - 4 acting Oscar nods, 4 BP nods, 1 BP win, 2 BA wins - and I still say her best performance imo is on TV (The Curse) - not only that she missed a nod for Battle of the Sexes which she could have gotten Phew You can select 3 because why not? That's what Nikan would like I think ........3 out of 7........easy right? (Easy A not included - pffft) She's the boss:

Mehhhh ready for this ultimate recency bias product to go away. Olivia Colman, Frances McDormand, and Anthony Hopkins. They all sauntered down a bit.
Sally Hawkins in 2008 felt the same. You never hear her name dropped anymore 15 years later.
I guess I'll say La La Land...but i still need to see at least some of those. I definitely havent seen The Curse.

Went Birdman, Poor Things and The Curse (which is her deepest role I agree; thanks to its length, layers and creators).
Diane Keaton of our era? Does serious projects while being funny and "warm" to some degree.

The Favourite, Poor Things and The Curse - as far as I'm concerned, an all-time great trio of performances.

Loool,no, she's not an all-timer actress, and this is not all-timer run either.

Loool,no, she's not an all-timer actress, and this is not all-timer run either. So 4 BP nominees, 1 BP win, 2 BA Oscars an 4 nods for acting by 35 is NOT an all-timer run? Really? Can't decide on only 3 of those great performances I guess, huh buddy? I hear ya, I hear ya........

Loool,no, she's not an all-timer actress, and this is not all-timer run either. Well, if Franklin says it, it must be true. Still, there's one thing I'm not clear on: how does a Poor Things mini-tech sweep indicate a win for Gladstone in Best Actress?

Despite what certain posters would have you believe, this absolutely is a major run of films/performances for an actress, especially considering that only twice has she gone the biopic route, and one of those (The Favourite) is far from a traditional biopic as you can get to the point it shouldn't really count. This is exactly the sort of career any actor, male or female, should be looking at: a healthy mix of blockbuster fare, auteur projects, different media (she also has acclaim from the stage to her name), and self-developed projects that she has a creative stake in.
If I'm ranking the projects:
1. Birdman, or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) 2. The Favourite 3. Poor Things 4. La La Land 5. The Curse 6. Cruella 7. Battle of the Sexes
If I'm ranking Stone:
1. Poor Things 2. The Favourite 3. The Curse 4. La La Land 5. Cruella 6. Birdman, or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) 7. Battle of the Sexes

From the poll options (haven't seen The Curse):
1. Poor Things 2. The Favourite 3. Cruella
All really good, but I think my favourite performance from her is in Maniac.

Did anyone else really like her in The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love too? They're certainly not her greatest individual achievement, but in both of them she held her own (and then some) in very in-sync and charismatic ensembles.

She's very good in both, though she does kinda get hamstrung with the most superfluous and uninteresting character in The Help. Still, her charisma and her screen presence makes up for it and she holds her own against that ensemble.

I actually have to maybe go back to rewatch Maniac - I liked it but I was so astounded by her other, surrouning it recent work I think there's a lot to pick up there.......I don't think I was fully invested in that show to maybe fully get it tbh

Best thing about her performance in the latter is that she and Ryan improvised most of their scenes that then turned out to be the best parts of the movie.
Regarding the topic:
Pretty much a tie between La La Land as her definite movie star performance and Poor Things as the best acting showcase (rare case of the Academy being spot-on). This forum obviously loves The Favourite but immediately after watching Poor Things I thought that one will replace the former as the definite Stone/Lanthimos collaboration and it basically already has, well outside of this forum at least.
I think The Curse will always suffer from being too niche and not seen by enough people to be regarded on the same level as LLL or PT.

Are you saying this (bold) for you personally or for most people? Or both? I know that I think The Curse is her best acting work........... but I certainly also know why "most people" think her Oscar winning ones are better ......or at least more palatable

As for my personal opinion, well good thing you gave us three votes so I used all of them.^^
