I had to check the date because I genuinely believed this was an April Fools' joke.

my gf recently got in the mood to play sims 4 and wanted to download it on my labtop. looked it up and the full game costed like 750 fucking bucks with all of the dlcs lmao.
EA is such a pos company. if anyones thinking of downloading the game, just know there’s lots of helpful info out there on reddit and youtube that’ll save you a lot of money 😛

You can't download custom houses or buildings from the gallery if they use assets for packs you haven't purchased... and there are TONS of DLC packs. I bought almost everything up until 2020 and then just gave up lol. Too expensive and too overwhelming. Can't imagine anyone just starting to get into it now. Like there are some packs you can prioritize but the absolute deluge of unbought DLC would give me major fomo.

......................................................this is so...........................................................
What is she doing? I don't get this move at all. It seems beneath her. Barbie was fun, but I'm actually really uncomfortable with making movies out of toys and games. Last year there was an article that movies about Polly Pocket, Hot Wheels, Magic 8 Ball, etc. were in the works and were hinging on the success of Barbie. We've already seen how comic book movies have had a negative impact on the industry and the decline in quality for standards. This is just going to add to that.
And are we going to have stupid discourse when The Sims doesn't get nominated for acting, screenplay, and directing Oscars?
