Wish away!
Realistic ones: 1. The Boy and the Heron wins Best Animated Film 2. Emma Stone wins Best Actress 3. Poor Things wins Production Design H/M: Oppenheimer wins Best Adapted Screenplay, especially over American Fiction (this was originally my #3 but Nolan is getting enough trophies today anyway, whereas Poor Things is in jeopardy of joining The Turning Point and The Color Purple with 11 losses)
Unrealistic one: Bradley Cooper wins Best Actor, causing "Film Twitter" to collectively implode.

The only realistic one I can think of is Emma Stone.
I'll go less realistic, otherwise what is even the point of dreaming??????
1. The Boy and the Heron winning animated. This is not realistic. Come on. 2. Anatomy of a Fall not winning screenplay. 3. Eternal Memory or Four Daughters winning Documentary.

I'm just waiting for Nolan and RDJ's wins, in no small part because of their past works (for the former especially)... Giamatti too I guess. I guess I'd be happier if Stone wins? but I don't "wish" it as Gladstone's win be historic too...

1. Oppenheimer wins Adapted Screenplay 2. Oppenheimer wins something unexpected, bringing its win total to double digits 3. Oppenheimer wins Visual Effects from a massive number of write-in votes, resulting in 11 Oscars, matching Titanic, ROTK, and Ben-Hur

1. The Boy and the Heron winning animated. This is not realistic. Come on. Damn. Spider-Verse was my favorite movie of the year, and even *I’M* predicting Boy and the Heron to win

Giamatti (Actor) Huller (Actress) Glazer (Director)
It would be nice to see anything out of the ordinary though.

THE BOY AND THE HERON winning would be great too, as Miyazaki is my favorite animation filmmaker EVER, but I have it #8 on my Top 10 and SPIDERVERSE at #9, so can't get too upset as I love it only a little more than the latter. Plus, the fact that the TRUE animated masterwork this year (SUZUME) was snubbed for something as mediocre and pandering as NIMONA just makes me want to say "FUCK THIS CATEGORY." 😡

Actress: Sandra Huller Screenplay: Anatomy of a Fall Best sound: Zone of Interest
Only the second one is realistic, but I will be rooting against that dull, derivative thing called the Holdovers and Giamatti. Oppenheimer and Cillian Murphy, please.

I got what I wanted. Poor Things in Actress, Production Design and Makeup. Bonus for Godzilla Minus One spoiling Neil Corbould's night.
