Don’t you want to hear from the right-ists as well?
Or do you only come to liberalism?

Actually Mark Ronson - who co-wrote I'm Just Ken (I had no idea tbh) is performing with Gosling tonight and that could get into a fight because Ronson is kind of a control freak really.......they maybe should fight as a goof but no one would get it because it would be too ironic

Don't know how much of an outrage it's gonna cause but I still have a feeling that Stone is getting her #2 today.

Happy for her but come on, idk when will Gladstone get another chance to get nominated let alone win. And if anyone was supposed to win besides her it should have been Huller. Emma's speech was beautiful tho.

Definitely Emma Stone winning would cause outrage and that's what happened. People are bashing Emma and accusing her of stealing a Native American's Oscar. It's absolutely disgusting. Lily Gladstone's performance wasn't even nomination worthy to begin with so frankly she's lucky she got a nomination for a performance that was competent and nothing to write home about. But over the last few years, people want poc to win solely because they're poc. it's odd how people want diversity wins for the sake of diversity vs. rewarding genuinely outstanding performances

Also, if we're talking about an understated performance that actually deserved a nomination, it was Greta Lee in Past Lives (and Teo Yoo as well)

Brain damaged twitter users are now creating fake outrage bc they hate that a white actress won. I feel so bad for Emma Stone. I hope she‘a unaware of what the internet is saying. These people are so vitriolic and dishonest

These people are so vitriolic and dishonest While I do think that RDJ totally gives a snooty bitch vibe, I don't think this was intentional. It's obvious that he just didn't know KHQ at all, but he did know Tim Robbins and Sam Rockwell from way back or something. Emma Stone literally just looks like she had a stroke when she won. And the funniest part is by far Sally Field trying to pull back JLaw lmao.

Talking about an intentional edit to create fake news...
Best thing is to ignore these people and not spread their bs further.

Oh I know. She also hugged Michelle Yeoh. I muted Emma Stone's name and anything related to the win last night so I don't see this garbage on my feed again.

I thought Emma Stone did look visibly unhappy when she won. It read to me as more than just shock and being overwhelmed, and it seemed like a “No, this really shouldn’t be me” kind of reaction. I think she really wanted Gladstone to win and actually looked like she felt guilty about it.

I don’t think Blanchett wanted to win last year, either.

That's what I thought too, but she also looked kinda disappointed when Yeoh won so maybe we were mistaken.

I didn’t think she looked disappointed to lose at all. I definitely got the sense that she didn’t want to win especially after she already won 2. If Cate had won, the backlash would’ve been 3x than it is now for Emma. I was praying so hard for Cate to lose even though hers was the superior performance by far.

That's the most important thing about the awards season. To add, Gladstone’s next project is being produced by Scorsese and directed by Charlie Kaufman, and she booked that before Oscar night. I wish the noise online paid attention to her future projects instead of putting a ceiling on a breakout indigenous woman’s success and acting like her career is dead. The pessimism is so frustrating.

I think she really wanted Gladstone to win and actually looked like she felt guilty about it. Supposedly someone asked her about her speech prior to the awards and her response was “oh, I’m not winning”
