Most famous among those?
I know this debate is splitting hairs because they're all famous and everyone knows that, but I think Pulp Fiction.
Maybe not initially but I think it has grown to a level surpassing the others.
The iconography of the briefcase, the gimp, Uma Thurman's bowl hair. And Travolta recapturing his 70s identity with his famous dance scene. A royale with cheese and so much memorabilia...it surpasses Goodfellas in my eyes although Goodfellas is certainly Top 3 of the decade.
Schindlers List doesnt have as much iconography but it is war so it does have the added extent of a wide, overreaching appeal. Some people wouldn't be interested in gangster movies, but not sure if theres anyone who would just completely avoid war movies altogether.
I think Fargo is easily the least known of the 4.
My Mann fanboyism would incline me to say Heat but I know people who found it cold and more people got nothing out of it than the others where most people at least got something out of them.
If Denzel did Se7en like originally planned I think itll easily skyrocket to Top 3...it has enough iconography even without Denzel.

I think it's easily Schindler's List. Even normies from older generations who don't watch movies know about that one, I doubt they'd know the others.

Schindler's List. Easily. Maybe not for its specifics, but purely for fame, as a movie people know exists and vaguely what it's about? No contest.

Purely based on my IRL experiences, Schindler's List.

If we're talking personal experiences.... my parents only know (and like) The Shawshank Redemption among the big 90s classics.
They know (and like) Titanic and Saving Private Ryan but I don't know if those are quite the classics that Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption are.
My mom is an Eastwood fan. But when I showed her Unforgiven, she felt bored and turned it off. I guess Unforgiven is not really a first degree classic. Maybe a 2nd degree classic. She's a Bridges of Madison County person.
They're the ultra plebby type tho. I don't think they'll like Goodfellas or Pulp Fiction. Nor Schindler's List probably just because it's black and white and imo the less entertaining film in general than Saving Private Ryan.

Schindler's might have the highest name ID even from people who haven't seen it but I think it's close between GoodFellas and Pulp Fiction as to the most widely seen of these.
Fargo isn't really on the same level here, Shawshank would have been a more interesting choice.

You guys have no idea HOW FAR AHEAD Spielberg is in terms of global name recognition. Schindler's List by far. It's also a very remarkable trivia and for that reason alone, this checks out: The Oscar-winning movie on the holocaust by the world's most well-known director.
