One of the most intriguing races of the season... how do you think it's gonna end?
I've been leaning Spider-Verse all season long but now my gut is actually telling me to go with The Boy and the Heron. So I'll listen to my gut. Is part of that hopedicting? Sure, but I do think there is genuine passion for the movie. And maybe some voters will think that there'll be time to reward Spider-Verse again with the third movie, who knows. Whatever the case may be, I'm going with Miyazaki.

I hope it's Miyazaki, but I think it will be Spider-Verse.

I want Miyazaki to win so bad, but I don't see much reason to get my hopes up at this point. There hasn't been much diversion over the past decade between industry winners in Animated film, but when there has been the PGA winner has matched up with Oscar (9/10) more than the Annie or the BAFTA (7/10)

I thought Spider-Verse being a Part 1 would leave room for Heron overperformance but that hasn't panned out, so there's no reason to doubt Spider-verse at this point.

The American voters prefer Spider-Verse, the international voters prefer Heron. I think it will be a great test of the new international bloc’s power over the Academy.
I think it’ll end up being Spider-Verse, but it’s one of the biggest nail-biters of the night.

Which one did voters take their kids to see? That's your answer.

I think it will be, and should be Spider-Verse. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Boy and the Heron pulled out the win.
