Like, mine pretty much sucks. I'm a film fan but I haven't got a visual memory. Generally, the most I can remember are facts such as release year and main cast and crew. Most of the movies I've seen I've pretty much forgotten most things about them. As for my favorites, it gets better, what with the repeated viewings and such, but still I wish I could remember more details. It sucks when you have to talk or write about it because it's a struggle to remember or else I need to have watched it very recently. What I do always remember though, is whether I liked it or not, and for those that elicit stronger reactions, I can usually remember the feelings they provoked in me, even if I can't pinpoint exactly what provoked them.
I'm sure most of you will have a very different memory, I'm very curious to know!

Pretty bad too! I also remember casts and crews (at age 12 I knew people like Bob Murawski and Bill Pope because I was always studying the credits of films that I loved), but I can never remember quotes, for instance. I forget plot events too quite often. What I do remember is the feeling I had watching the movies, but rarely hard details of the story and so on.

It depends. I remember dates and casts and companies quite well, but some films I really don't remember much from. Others though I know quite well.

Pretty poor across the board, like you and Jango I don't forget how I feel and my opinion on the film but certain plot-lines, quotes etc just go out of my head unless its something I've seen a few times.
I'm also pretty bad at remembering scores, I may know at the time whether I liked them but music in general just gets forgotten with me. Usually that's how I compile my score line-ups, if I can still remember it a few days after the film it must have had something going for it.

I seem to be right along the same lines as you. From a fact and trivia standpoint its actually great, but from the point of view of being able to write a solid review of a film it's awful. I always feel as if I can't throw something really coherent and worthwhile down for others to read on the basis of one viewing of a film, even if I try to do it the very next day. It always amazes and impresses me when I see these lengthy and great reviews the likes of Stephen, Paranoid, Mitch and Lily would write. Maybe they take notes while they watch....maybe I should take note while I watch. I kinda think that would ruin the experience of watching a film, but who knows.

It's pretty good for movies I enjoy.

For the most part, I have a pretty good memory. For favorites, I can retain tons of details like the set design, score, minor quotes, etc. For other films, I can remember the narrative, characters, and some specific scenes pretty well so long as it's a movie I've seen relatively recently (i.e. within the last 5 or so years) and/or a movie I've seen multiple times.

It depends on how many times I've seen the movie and the "factors", like shock value, major twists, entertainment value, emo value etc etc which can make me remember intricate details of even the films I've seen once and may or may not plan to see again. Requiem, for one, is a film I can really remember each scene of, some better or worse than others. But some films, which bore me to death, are ones which I forget I ever even whatched. Any Avengers film would be a good example of this.
So, my memory is real hit if I liked the film nuff.

I started watching films on a regular basis 4 years ago and I can pretty much recall plot details and cast/crew and memorable imagery of all the films I've watched

Pretty good. I remember movie titles and dates when it comes to shooting locations and the likes, my memory's a bit fuzzier on that, though.

I'm really bad at remembering scores, while being good at remembering certain scenes.

Depends on what we're talking about. I never record my favorites and prefer to make them based on what I remember at the moment. I can remember what I've seen, though.

I think my 'cinematic' memory is relatively good. If I watched a movie carefully, other than in 'automatic mode', I can remember the essentials. I usually have problems remembering the names of all the characters (especially those from films that are not in English or Portuguese, as they are more difficult to remember or pronounce), the name of the city or places where the story takes place (if they are fictional), but if you ask me to explain the plot of the film, I can easily summarize it from beginning to end. I would like to have more facility to memorize dialogues and phrases.

If I've only seen a movie once, I'm always amazed how little I remember about it years later, even if I loved it. I'll remember vague moments, or just remember liking a particular scene without having any idea what the context was. I always have to go on YouTube or Wikipedia to refresh my memory on things.
Like I'll go to Letterboxd and pick a random page and a random movie. Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Saw it in a theater, paid attention to the whole thing, really liked it, haven't seen a thing from it since...I remember a chase scene in the woods and the old lady dies and her friend is the new young guy, and he was shouting after her crying. And I remember the end where Katniss gets saved from something and lifted into the air and PSH is in a room, and there was the big closeup of her face getting mad. Because the game had been rigged or something. And Jeffrey Wright was in it and there was some stuff where they were hanging out on the water. I can't even remember what the setup was, it was like teams? And there was some stuff about Katniss and Peeta being famous at the beginning. And Jena Malone flashed everybody in an elevator, I think. And I remember it being a little more dynamically directed than the first one in general.

Really good at one time but it's gotten progressively worse .........at one time I would have told you I could judge a movie on 1 watch and be pretty much on target about the facts of it (and my POV).....and write a great deal about it - in general my memory is really creepily good and good at connecting things within the movie - character names, events, etc
When I write about a movie - here or otherwise there's always a tug between do I have something to say about it immediately or does it need to sit and be thought about .......but if it's the latter I'm more likely to push things I "recall" (movie particulars) in the review rather than things I actually "experienced" (emotions / feelings) while watching the movie ......

I’m usually very good with cast & crew and the year of release (plus some additional facts) but I’ve always been terrible with dialogue.

Very good.
The fact that I can watch all these horror movies and still remember minute details that annoyed the shit out of me from each one is quite impressive if I do say so myself.
However, since so many of these movies share very similar titles, I do sometimes need to look it up and then go "ah, it was that one... yeah, it sucked."
