Not sure if you know but Sorkin actually wanted him for Steve Jobs at one point but Cruise wasn't interested. Looks nothing like him but I think he would have captured the energy of the role so well. And agree he delivered Sorkin's specific dialogue better than just about anybody outside of some of The West Wing cast in A Few Good Men. Would love to see Cruise/Sorkin do a movie with another top auteur, maybe Fincher again. |
