American Fiction – Erika Alexander, Adam Brody, Sterling K. Brown, Keith David, John Ortiz, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Leslie Uggams, and Jeffrey Wright
Barbie – Michael Cera, Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Ryan Gosling, Ariana Greenblatt, Kate McKinnon, Helen Mirren, Rhea Perlman, Issa Rae, and Margot Robbie
The Color Purple – Halle Bailey, Fantasia Barrino, Jon Batiste, Danielle Brooks, Ciara, Colman Domingo, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Louis Gossett Jr., Corey Hawkins, Taraji P. Henson, Phylicia Pearl Mpasi, and Gabriella Wilson "H.E.R."
Killers of the Flower Moon – Tantoo Cardinal, Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone, John Lithgow, and Jesse Plemons
Oppenheimer – Casey Affleck, Emily Blunt, Kenneth Branagh, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Josh Hartnett, Rami Malek, Cillian Murphy, and Florence Pugh
SAG Ensemble winner and Oscar Best Picture winner have lined up 14 out of 28 times. Definitely not the best predictor. However, SAG Ensemble wins can boost momentum. See Shakespeare in Love, Crash, Parasite, and CODA as examples.
The Birdcage is the only film to win SAG Ensemble, without getting a Best Picture nomination.
Does everybody agree that Oppenheimer is winning Ensemble?

It feels pretty ironclad because a.) it's the dominant Best Picture sweeper, b.) it's got half of Hollywood in it, c.) it's got one individual win on lock and another one nearly so, and d.) it's not lost any momentum and none of the other contenders feel like they're gaining enough to eclipse it.

Yep. Maybe with a miniscule chance for American Fiction.

Yes, it’s winning. I do think people are underestimating American Fiction as a contender here though.9

Yes, it’s winning. I do think people are underestimating American Fiction as a contender here though.9 I am going with Oppy to win 3 SAG awards and the PGA. But I do feel American Fiction might be the big spoiler. Maybe this is due to boredom or the fact it beat out Oppy, Poor Things, and Zone at the BAFTAs for Adapted Screenplay.
