We ask a lot on Reddit and people will complain about the 10s not being defined today. But the decade ended less than 5 years ago. It takes at least 10 years to get identified as a "time period." I remember in the previous decade, people complained about the 2000s being one big decade since it's still part of this century. Hell, I was one of them. But how wrong was I. You could tell things are 00s just by listening to the music and the fashion.
And it make me realized that the 90s wasn't identified in the 00s and it was always those "since 1990" threads on IMDb boards. Of course some people still do it and it's understandable since IMDb launched in 1990.
I honestly can't wait until 2030 and people will start looking back at the 10s like how people do now with the 00s. Plus, I hate how only one decade of the 21st century is only identified.
