The Sixteenth Annual MYeah Awards - WINNERS!

Another year, another awards cycle, and between several strikes, dubious political battles, and some stressful personal times… I’m glad it’s over.
I think 2023 was underwhelming in general, specifically as a lot of the highlights came from earlier in the year, but towards the end of July there was a steady decrease in interest. At least it was for me, especially with some sparse entries.
Though I did see a nice pool of films to select from, standing at just under 80 films as of posting, I feel like these nominations, while I’m happy with them, will feel homogenized. Like it’s the same 5-6 films showing up in 7 or 8 categories.
But I did manage to get some decent lineups together, with the exception of one change: The complete elimination of Best International Feature. I may reinstate it at some point, but for now, I’m fine with its exclusion.
But with all that addressed, let’s unveil the lucky contenders for the sixteenth annual MYeah Awards.
