I think most people agree that Oppenheimer is the front runner. Honestly I think we are approaching the point where who is in 2nd hardly matters because it’s not that close but what else we gonna do in the meantime?
I’m still saying The Holdovers because it’s win competitive in 3 above the line categories. (And basically locked in 1) Missing Director hasn’t been that big of a deal in the preferential ballot era.
Poor Things had the second best day today but I’ve been tricked by nomination hauls before and I don’t like it’s potential win package as much as The Holdovers’.
Barbie has done the second best in precursors up until the BAFTAS. Don’t like it’s odds of winning anything above the line besides maybe Adapted.
Kind of waiting for SAG on this. If something besides Oppenheimer wins I’ll probably promote it.
Anything else?

Yeah, I guess it's still The Holdovers even with the Payne snub.

I think it might be Poor Things (or as I call it Porn Things ) - because at least for the support it has it has seemingly really passionate support........KotFM missing screenplay and The Holovers missing director and being a very safe type thing ( loved it, but it is) I think Poor Things just runs deeper across more........quite arguable tough.....
