You have Unmarried & Satisfied twice......... which is a great joke tbh  I have never been married .........I'm in business with my current gf now so its more like a marriage / business relationship / co-habitational sleep deprivation experiment.....than some of my previous long-term serial monogamist exhibitions..... Anybody ever sleep with a(nother) married man or woman? (Not your wife/ husband ffs) Spill it....I'll tell if you will..... Anyone old enough to remember when these 2 dim bulbs were married? - him a walking haircut before he turned his state into a Leftist Hellscape and she a dumbfnck who later married into Hitler's family? Life is funny, huh? .......and I mean that in the way that doesn't generate any laughs whatsoever..... Best marriage songs? My Wife - The Who........What else?  |

Here's another one - a band - Alvvays - I got yelled at for givng a positive rating (~7 +) to last year - wtf MAR  - though I said their album was a little overrated so that makes sense I guess  This should be MAR's marriage song maybe - since it included an attack on pacinoyes.......... and we do literally have an Archie too: Alvayys

Unmarried and content. I have a lot of problems with marriage as an institution. Namely that it feels like an outdated obligation out of requirement and law, or the fact that it’s crammed down your throat as the fairy tale ending we should all strive for, or how extravagant ceremonies can utterly bankrupt a couple.

Married for 6 years, together for almost 8. No kids yet (kind of ambivalent about it), but couldn’t be happier right now... and very glad to be done with the dating scene.

Obviously you can celebrate with your family and friends according to your tastes and money availability. Yeah, the idea of having my own wedding sounds kind of nightmarish to me. For one, I'm really introverted and hate being the center of attention. And two, I'm a really practical person. As such, I would hate to spend that much money for a quick event that I wouldn't even enjoy. I'd rather use all that money to help me buy a house or to go on a major vacation/honeymoon. Obviously no issues with the millions that want to have a wedding, but it's a no go for me. |

I had an afternoon ceremony, then we went with family and friends (I don't remember the exact number, but around 80/100 people) to a restaurant owned by one of mom's cousins who made us pay only the bare costs. Good food, no orchestra or anything, just people who wanted to wish us happiness. |
