One of my favourite character actresses, who won two Tonys and (more essentially for me) is my Supporting Actress winner in 1981 for her delightfully deadpan performance in Outland. Plus she was Cliff Clavin's ma.
Rest easy, Frances.

I think most people might recognize her from her supporting turn in Sex and the City as Kyle MacLachlan's character's mother. Rest in Chanel, Bunny MacDougal.

RIP! Just a few days ago I watched the trailer for the Golden Years series and lit up when I saw her. I recognize her best from Misery... her sarcastic relationship with Richard Farnsworth is wonderful....... and Raising Cain (I wanted to post her hilarious hallway scene but it's not online?) ......she's great in Outland too, who'd ever think to cast her as Connery's costar in a sci-fi action pic!
Such a pro as a character actor and prolific on stage. With five....Nobody has more Featured Actress Tony nominations, nobody!

The only one of the cast to receive an acting Emmy nomination apart from the regular cast (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon)
