I am 41 years old, and I got 8 out of 12. I will rack that up as a major victory.

Sneaky link was the only one I hadn’t heard before. “We never saw specific people in my day” “Oh hey, you got a nice little variety” Also lol at Marty holding a 40-year grudge against Entertainment Tonight for throwing shade at King of Comedy...

Sneaky link was also the only one I missed
I’m Gen Z myself and everyone I know still calls it a booty call

Throw shade was not created by Gen Z. That has been around since the 90s.

Omg, Marty is so cute. I've heard the term "sneaky link", but I didn't know it meant "booty call" - also, I've never heard "simp" before. I've always wondered where "ship" comes from? Is it simply a shortening of "relationship", or does it refer to how people have always wished Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio were a real couple? Titanic = Ship? Thank you for helping this old millennial out - I know you are all rooting for your old girl!

Scorsese is also rather salty about how upper crust critics viewed Shutter Island.

Scorsese is also rather salty about how upper crust critics viewed Shutter Island. Sometimes he's even salty to himself for making Shutter Island though......he's been pretty clear in the past saying he shouldn't have made it or at least shouldn't have made it when he did and should have done Silence instead - earlier - which gets us back to the original cast of Silence ..............and what might have been...... Ah well..........regrets....he's had a few.........but then again....too few to mention......... www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/leonardo-dicaprio-shutter-island-martin-scorsese-b2421465.html

Titanic = Ship? It originates with Mulder and Scully from X-Files and it's a shortening of "relationships."

Funnily enough, the first time I learned “ship” was from one of my boomer profs who was a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and one time said he shipped some couple in it lol (dunno which, never watched it)

Gen Z definitely did not invent a couple of these like "ship". Also why are they talking in chipmunk voices? Does everything on TikTok have to be annoying
