You can submit ballots with any category with less than the category's number, or without certain categories other than the top 9. Points will be assigned based on your ranking. The eligibility period will be for the first theatrical release in the film's country (or one of its countries) of origin. Look on IMDb for that information, and ask me if you need clarification on an edge case. TV movies are eligible. Miniseries are not. The voting period is open now and will close August 31. I know that isn't much time and I'm willing to extend, but I hope to get the nominations done before summer ends. Feel free to post any FYCs in this thread.

I think a separate thread was made where people wrote the performances that could cause some category problems and then a vote was held on each of those.

Important Note:
The Quiet Girl, is not Colm Bairéad's feature length debut, he previously directed the documentary Lorg na gCos: Súil Siar ar Mise Éire, which is over 40 minutes long (the academy's standard for a feature).
Marcel The Shell With Shoes On also is not eligible for debut feature, Dean Fleischer Camp previously directed the documentary Fraud.

I just made my own ballot. Colin Farrell isn't even the best actor in Banshees - Condon is! - but he makes my best actor lineup with ease. Condon doesn't even make my lineup. Best actor is a wasteland past my top two of Yann Gael and Ryu Jun-yeol (who is arguably supporting anyway, but dang I needed *something* of quality in lead, dammit). My other embarrassing category is adapted screenplay, as only two adapted movies make my top 20 of the year.

Important Note:Saint Omer is not a debut. Alice Diop previously directed three feature length documentaries. Not to pile on, but We're All Going to the World's Fair is ALSO not a debut. The director previously made the documentary A Self-Induced Hallucination. We really need to just make a qualifying list next time.
