You don't have to give an exact year or age, but what is your first memory?
The two that sticks out for me, was going to pre-school or my mother comforting me in a rocking chair in her bedroom. Probably age 3-4.

* Vaguely recall some wise men bringing me Frankincense, Gold and Myrrh * A lot of Denzel Washington related memories ........you know like when he won his 3rd Oscar, or his first comic acting triumph or when he got BAFTA nominated.......oh wait - none of that is real.....just false memories, so many false memories....... * Nothing specifically but it was probably 100% true and sarcastic...... * Remember having a birthday party at 4 - 4 ffs - and my aunt giving me a new coat and me being all weird and analytical - trying it on and thinking "ok, it's not cold enough for this coat ......but one day it will be........and ......I'll be adequately warm .........I approve of this gift........it is admirable......."

I was running around a firepit, tripped on a tree root and broke my nose. I believe I was three years old at the time.
It is bent out of shape to this day.

Overall memory: getting lost in a mall and being both scared and amazed by the sheer size of the space around me. I guess I was around three but I'm not sure.
Movie memory: the fucking fetus dropping out of the murdered mother whale in Orca. I'm sure I've seen some movies before that but this is the first cinematic image I can consciously remember. I was probably around four and that shit has stuck with me for life.

Oh honeys, on my first day at school refusing to sit with the other children and demanding a VIP area. I also have a vague memory of thinking at the time, 'Don't they know who I am?'...

5 years old
I had woken up before my parents that morning and I went to the living room to lie on the couch. I put my hand inside my underwear to scratch myself and my mom walked out at that exact moment. Our eyes locked for a second (felt like forever) and then we went on with our day. I don't know what it is about that memory that sticks around in my head all these years later and it's never been mentioned again between my mom and I.

I have a lot of random scattered memories of when I was 3-4 years old, and I’m not sure which was first: - Repeatedly watching my Aladdin VHS and always leaving the room during the part at the end when Jafar turns into the snake because it freaked me out - Watching an episode of Sesame Street where Bert and Ernie are inside an Egyptian pyramid or something and a statue comes to life, and it freaking me out - Lying in bed at night and being kind of freaked out by the clown hanging from the ceiling in the far corner of my room - Not being able to sleep during nap time at daycare and being bored af Some nicer, less anxiety-related ones : - Nodding off in the backseat of my mom’s car in the morning before she drove to work, and her asking me if I wanted to go to daycare or to Grandma’s house. Always chose Grandma’s. ALWAYS. Why do you even ask, woman?! - Sitting on the kitchen counter uselessly/obstructively and drinking juice while my mom cooked dinner - Building a tower of wooden blocks with my dad, knocking it over, and laughing my ass off - Throwing a soccer ball at my dad, him catching it and pretending to stagger backward from the force, and me laughing my ass off. Also him kicking the soccer ball high into the trees in our backyard and me thinking it was awesome.

I was 3 years of age.
I'm lying on a bed at the hospital, probably a few hours after having an operation and I'm totally angry and yelling at my family, they swear I even cursed at them, it was due to all the medication though... and remember vividly my grandmother saying "God bless this child", no longer after that she passed away. A bittersweet memory for sure.

Going to the movies for the first time to see Finding Nemo. My sister dropped the popcorn on the way in, and I spent half the film hiding behind the seat in front of me.
Also around the same time, I was chucking the mother of all tantrums every time I got dropped off at either pre-school or kindy.
