Along with Lena Headey and, presumably, Katey Sagal. The premise: “As a group of diverse, outlier families pursue their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon, a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. These abandoned souls, the kind of lost souls living on the fringe of society, unite their tribes to form a family and fight back. In this bloody process, “justice” is stretched beyond the boundaries of the law.” Sutter is someone who I always think has interesting ideas but he is also one of the biggest edgelords in television. The guy works best if he has someone to restrain him from his more aggressively over-the-top inclinations, as seen in The Shield versus his unfettered chaos in Sons of Anarchy. I do like the premise, though, and Anderson is an all-timer on television and hopefully this adds another notch in her belt.
