I can certainly pretend to care about this as much as I care about Eggers Nosferatu ......got to love the ground being retreaded by our "horror masters" - The Northman wasn't good (it wasn't thx) and was a remake........Pinocchio wasn't good .....GDT's movie before Pinocchio was good but that was a remake too.......come on.....you're not even trying fellas......

This reminds me of the scene in Short Circuit 2 where Johnny 5 gets Pinocchio and Frankenstein from the book store Anyway, Frankenstein deserves a great adaptation and has thus far received nothing but bad ones, so fingers crossed.

Waltz joins...... "I'm doing Frankenstein. We're working on it. We start shooting in February, and it's a movie I have been wanting to do for 50 years since I saw the first Frankenstein. I had an epiphany, and it’s basically a movie that required a lot of growth and a lot of tools that I couldn't have done 10 years ago. Now I'm brave or crazy enough or something, and we're gonna tackle it. It’s Oscar Isaac, Andrew Garfield, Christoph Waltz, Mia Goth, and we’re working on it."collider.com/guillermo-del-toro-frankenstein-christoph-waltz-cast/

Garfield out? Elordi in? TylerDeneuveFresh from having his bathwater drunk in “Saltburn,” Jacob Elordi may have a new gig.
Sources say that Elordi is taking over the role of the Frankenstein monster from Andrew Garfield in a new “Frankenstein” movie for Netflix.
Guillermo del Toro had already announced the film co-starring Oscar Isaac as the doctor — named Pretorious — who tracks down the monster who was believed to have died in a fire 40 years earlier. (So this won’t be ‘Young’ Frankenstein.) Two time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and Mia Goth co-star.
Garfield is out due to scheduling conflicts. He has a lot of back-to-back projects including playing scientist Carl Sagan. www.showbiz411.com/2024/01/07/monster-mash-exclusive-andrew-garfield-out-of-guillermo-del-toros-frankenstein-jacob-elordi-said-to-be-in

Honestly, I'm into this recasting. I'll even pretend it's a Saltburn sequel.
