Good enough for Scream 6. Honestly sort of forget it was coming out this weekend. It's such a fast turnaround from the fifth.

Scream 6 doing well. 65 is a dud, and based off what I've read, WOM is gonna be rough.

House of Gucci made BANK, and Annette and White Noise are both well reviewed, and Driver got very good personal notices for them. Plus those two either had a very limited release or were a Netflix exclusive, so they can't be classed as box office failures. So you just have 65 and The Last Dual, which I wouldn't say constitutes as "a lot".

Scream is really in a league of their own. Incredible stuff given that this is the sixth film in the franchise. Creed 3 passes 100m too. Nice to see some light at the end of the box office.

I think it’s hilarious that there were some reviews that said it’s the worst movie of Driver’s when I at least enjoyed it more than a lot of his arty stuff or even TROS. I mean I was one of the few people that enjoyed The Dead Don’t Die, but that was worse than 65. I mean they both are bad, but at least it didn’t have a subplot that was just forgotten about.

I haven't seen 65 yet, but I assume most of the reviews are reviewing it within the context of a bigger budgeted (though not that big), mainstream action movie, whereas The Dead Don't Die was a rather weak Jim Jarmusch joint.

Guess the Scream franchise will be just fine without Neve Campbell/Sidney Prescott even though they did lowball her.
