I was vaguely aware of Evermore before this, but didn't know much more than its name and visiting its website (which was as Jenny describes in the video) a few months ago. DAMN is this a fascinating look at how to run a business into the ground. Nerd culture is ripe for capitalization, and an eccentric millionaire creating his own park free of pre-existing IPs sounds like a dream come true... but this goes from that amazing concept, to entertaining train wreck, and finally to disheartening cautionary tale of exploitation and hubris driving away both the audience and your own employees.
I would love to see someone else build upon this idea, as nerds want things like this to succeed and are willing to pay for it if you give them something to believe in.

Jenny could put out a 4-hour video about anything and I'd watch every second of it but this is one of her best. I've been hearing about this legendary Evermore video in her Patreon rambles since last fall so I'm glad she finally got to put it out.

I've never been very familiar with her, but I did want to hear about the subject. I've been a fan of Defunctland (a channel that started as videos on defunct theme park rides that began doing several hour long "seasons" on the history of Disney parks) for a while, and this is in the same vein of nerdy journalism, detailing the rise and fall of a business. (Defunctland would have spent more time developing the history of Bretschneider and wouldn't have done a subjective vlog of his own tour at the park, but that's a difference in style, not quality.)

Let’s face it. Nothing will top DL’s masterpiece about the Disney FastPass service. No lie, it really is (was) as systematic nightmare as it’s portrayed

I only know who this is because she did like a 20 minute video making fun of Bronies that was extremely funny when I watched it.
I don't care about sword and sorcery so this isn't my thing but I would get so into something like this if it was a Bondian spy thing where you were encouraged to come in a tuxedo.

Definitely going into my top 10 movies of 2021. I got a literal belly laugh out of Part Seven: CLASS WARFARE[/b]. Those were the words in my head when that came up, and then he began explaining that this is even the title of the phenomenon in queue theory.
