The UK is a legitimate mess, both politically and economically. The cost of living is insanely high.I don't think most of us want to live here right now,but the gun control/healthcare/abortion issues would still make me choose it over the US.Although I would definitely make an exception for New York.

Pictured below: The beginning of the end for both countries... Regardless of what you think of Reagan or Thatcher the 70's was an all around shitty decade in both countries so they can't really be cited as the low point.

The cost of living is insanely high. This was always true though, yes? Even pre-pandemic? I think it's just the nature of living on an island...

US. I hate UK.- The world would be a better place if Great Britain had sunk in the last ice age.-

I just realized that the US is beating the UK in this poll and Canada beat the US in a poll......so this board would choose Canada rather than the US or the UK.......um.......right........interesting theory ......ths is like choosing to finish in 3rd place. This is like choosing a side bean salad instead of Fries............this is like choosing .............well you get the idea .......

Well actually not all Australia I guess, but here in Sydney definitely is. For sure. Hawaii is markedly more expensive than the rest of the US.
