turns out trying to dictate to women what they can or can't do with their own bodies is galvanizing issue, who wouldda thought This isn't necessarily a silver bullet for dems in the midterms but it is a pretty powerful message that voters are fired up about this and that even in a deep red state voters are having none of this draconian Handmaid's Tale bullshit, and it wasn't even close, this amendment was defeated by double digits. That's great news for the country. bravo Kansas!

This is how this issue should’ve always been handled, not some Supreme Court decision like Roe. You leave it up to the democratic process in each state and now the people have spoken. Next step is for the people to have the next debate on how far into a pregnancy you can still get an abortion and then put that up to a vote too
