So it's Nicholson(12), Pacino (9), De Niro (8 pending), Hoffman (7) - we can all agree that this is the Greatest US Generation of actors and it doesn't include Hackman and Duvall and others.....and all these 6 guys got wildly ripped off of nods. Like I always say - it's not how many you get - it's how many times you're denied - and how many times they were denied is jaw-dropping (although not Nicholson as much).........you never saw it before........or since.....you won't see it again........and in a few years all you'll have is Jared Leto and some guy doing dinner theater in East Bumblefnck, New Jersey Act-ing!
