Certainly the worst since Thatcher but whether his legacy down the line is as damaging in its lasting impact only time will tell.

So.....do you lads think a vote of confidence will be called? Following the trend of the last 2 years in which scandals get forgotten by new scandals that proceed shortly after, I know not to get my hopes up but it would be insane on behalf of the Conservatives not to, judging not only by the public backlash but the inner party turmoil.

I think he will get through it for now. It depends on the local elections in May. If Conservatives lose there then he's gone. The problem is, as bad as Johnson is, who do you replace him with. No one in his cabinet inspires confidence for me personally.

A Tory MP defecting to Labour now. It's looking more and more likely.

Resigned
LONDON, July 7 (Reuters) - Boris Johnson said on Thursday he was resigning as Britain's prime minister, bowing to calls from ministerial colleagues and lawmakers in his Conservative Party.

I mean... at least he believed in female bodily autonomy and that climate change is real. That's all I've got. The bar is pretty low these days.

The usual Tory coup. Just at the end he was more coward than Theresa May.
