Surprisingly not a terrible drop for Eternals. I'm guessing the lack of competition for it, outside of Clifford The Big Red Dog, which is targeting a much younger demographic, helps.

Yeah, that's a solid enough hold for Eternals.Given how bad the reviews were,I thought it would be much steeper.

I can't believe Clifford made that amount of money, considering it ends with Emily having to shoot him after he got infected with rabies.

Eternals has been having so-so numbers thus far. Not great, not terrible. $180-200 million is off the table with the mixed reactions but it should get to $165-170 million with the holidays I think.

We've got a new contender to challenge the big bad trio of Avatar, Endgame and The Force Awakens.

Eternals is whatever, it's fine, but Clifford overperformed relative to expectations, guess parents had to find some way to shut their kids-up. Also sounds like Belfast, had a decent start as well.

Pretty good weekend at the box office. Eternals didn't entirely collapse in USA (and is actually holding quite well overseas), Clifford overperformed, Belfast is likely set for a long, leggy run and Dune, No Time to Die and Venom 2 all had excellent drops (and the latter two hit major milestones as well).
