Don’t personally consider your top two horror. If I did, they would certainly be on the list.

All of these are within my all-time top 80, which goes to show how obsessed I am with the genre

I know it's an "old" movie (from 1999) but I 've watched Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon for the first time a few days ago and it was so freaking good . A suspenseful and quite disturbing little gem of a movie written by the brilliant David Koepp .

The Sixth Sense and Stir of Echoes is a double-feature I always recommend, and frankly I think Stir of Echoes is creepier and more atmospheric.

I didn't list it in my post ^ but Arrebato (1979) should have probably been on my top 25 - and actually it's missing from everybody's Top 25 in this thread .......... One of the great - unique Art-horror films - one of the most impenetrable and also one of the great "about the movies" left-field cult films .........maybe it hasn't been seen that much on MAR (?) See it, if you haven't .........
