Christian Slater - I've only seen him in three films but he was the worst part in Interview with The Vampire and The Wife. Matthias Schoenaerts - Had to look up his name after seeing The Old Guard. The other ones I've seen is The Drop and Red Sparrow. Probably something to do with his acting.
Nicholas Cage - Liked him all the way until I watched Adaptation. That was the most unnatural 'acting' acting I've seen for some time and it doesn't help that I have to endure two Nicholas Cages, contrasted with convincing performances from Chris Cooper and Meryl Streep.

Maybe watching Slater in "Pump Up the Volume", "Heathers" and "True Romance" may change your mind unless one of those three is the other film you've seen him in. Matthias also gives some great work in "Bullhead", "Rust and Bone" and "The Mustang". I have only seen True Romance. Agree with you though, haven't seen their best work so I could easily change my mind

Schoenaerts was great in The Drop. Definitely check out some older stuff from Slater. I wouldn’t says he’s a great actor but he can be pretty good and has some great screen presence.

BUMP
Made the mistake of watching Why Him? with a buddy of hime the other day. (only agreed to it for Bryan Cranston tbh) and I gotta say that James Franco gave one of the most annoying performances I've seen in a long time. Good lord he sucks so much and I could have done without seeing his pubic hair. Seriously I wanted to knock his yellow teeth out in the middle of the movie. Just not funny at all. Most of his "comedic" work falls flat anyways so I should have known better. smh

Some reviews even compared him to Bridges's masterclass in The Big Lebowski.

Oh man, this made me laugh out loud lol. I didn’t think I’d ever see Schoenarts get hate but the day has come. He may have picked a few crummy roles, but the man has permanently won me over since Far From the Madding Crowd.

Well, I never liked Armie Hammer for some reason but I guess that doesn't count anymore EDIT: Brie Larson which is a shame It’s unfortunate about Larson. I was so hyped for her career after ST12 and now I’d probably actively avoid her work because I find her personality and film choices annoying.

Two I find really annoying as of late are Zendaya and Tom Holland. They can fuck right off.

And he gave one of the best performances of 2019 in MUSTANG.

Are we going by acting or what's presented in the media? I've seen people get hate just because they have a lot of rabid fans. So? That's their fans being annoying.
My standard answer is always Nicolas Cage. I also can't stand seeing Ben Affleck. Agree with Ryan Reynolds. It's hard for me to come up with actresses because I either love them or find them boring rather than annoying.
