And how about a "best albums of all time" poll where you can only vote for albums that made the top 50 lists from the '60s to the '10s? This is actually something that's also been on my mind since we wrapped up the 80s poll, formatted exactly like that and everything.

Not re-ranking based on ballot appearances this time since this poll was basically already decided by ballot appearances, but here's the ranking of artists based on appearances on this list:
Kendrick Lamar: 3 Kanye West: 2 Arcade Fire: 2 Paul Westerberg (Replacements/I Don't Cares...but you already knew that): 2 Tame Impala: 2 Frank Ocean: 2 Black Lips: 2 Parquet Courts: 2 The 1975: 2

We never had a rap album even hit the Top 5 (closest was Nas's Illmatic at #7 in the 90s poll) until Kanye gave us two of our top 3 for this decade

we get it, I'm the only one who listens to Bjork and Bon Iver way too much Kanye. Overrated as hell. Thought Modern Vampires would do a lot better but I guess not (it's their best record by far). Spoon because of course. That Voidz is really good, one of the better rock albums of the decade. Jack White, eww (there's like two good tracks on that thing). I'll always prefer Currents to Lonerism but I'm glad Currents made at least top 20. Janelle Monae and FKA twigs--yes, inspired. Predictably a dirth of pop generally but not as much as in the 2000s. thanks for running these Joaquim. my apologies on behalf of the whole board for the embarrassingly low turnout.

This one was all over the place. So much obscure indie rock. Kanye at the top is not a surprise. Liked posts where something I liked made it. we get it, I'm the only one who listens to Bjork and Bon Iver I like Bjork's classic 90's period but have not kept up with her recent stuff.

Quick observation - The Libertines - I think - are the only band whose full catalog made it.......for bands with more than 1 record I mean.

LMAO. I listened to 4 of these. Basically the Arcade Fires (don't even remember what they sound like), Beach House, and Taylor Swift. Bravo. I am so living in today's time. (I think to some laymen, I give off the "this guy is deeply music savvy" vibe, but..... obviously not)

I honestly thought Dead Man's Pop was going to win, so seeing Kanye's album at the top was a nice surprise. I had both MBDTF and Yeezus in my top 5.
Happy to see Twigs on the list, and so high! At some point, I even thought Magdalene was going to make it instead of LP1, or that both would make it but the former would be much higher. I like both (and voted for both), but LP1 is far superior to Magdalene in my opinion.
It's nice seeing Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar on the list, but what about Drake? No love for the guy here?
And anyone who hasn't listened to Black Keys's "Brothers" should do it now. I came across this album for the first time only a couple of days before submitting my ballot, and I was completely blown away by it. It deserves so much more than what it got here.
Kudoz to Joaquim for running this great series. The Guitar solos poll is a great idea, and so is Viced's Best Albums of All Time. We should do both!
