The only movie that I like that I've seen off that list is Moneyball. I like it a lot though. One of Pitt's finest moments, possibly his best performance.

The Wrestler is great too, but I won't call almost half the films here "sport" rather than character study with sport background.

out of that list, I'd go with The Wrestler & Warrior .
but if I could add one it would be Peter Berg's Friday Night Lights (2004). I really really love that film and felt Berg captured the craziness behind Texas high school football almost perfectly.
